North Carolina Global TransPark and 3Dsolve Inc. Partner to Provide Advanced Simulation Learning Software

Leading Transportation and Training Center is Launch Customer for 3D4M, 3Dsolve’s Platform for Collaborative Simulation Learning

Cary, NC, November 25, 2003 — 3Dsolve Inc., The Simulation Learning Company, announced that it has signed an agreement to provide advanced software and services to the North Carolina Global TransPark (GTP) Authority. Under the terms of the agreement, 3Dsolve will provide the GTP with customized versions of 3D4M, 3Dsolve’s new platform for collaborative simulation learning. The GTP’s state-of-the-art Education & Training Center (ETC) will then be able to offer its customers fully integrated training solutions for both instructor-led and self-paced learning, in both classroom and distance learning environments. These solutions will be used in the simulation of complex physical facilities, devices, and processes.

“3Dsolve’s 3D4M product will provide the GTP with a simulation-based distance learning platform that we can offer to a broad range of customers,” said Darlene Waddell, Executive Director of the GTP. “3D4M’s collaborative simulation learning capabilities will give us a valuable tool to use in promoting the benefits of locating at the GTP, accelerating our efforts to help grow the economy of Eastern North Carolina.”

“3D4M’s unique collaborative simulation learning capabilities will be an important part of our educational strategy,” said David Edwards, Director of the ETC. “For example, as part of the North Carolina Consortium for Logistics Education, we’ve helped create a two-year degree curriculum in global logistics technology. We can use 3D4M to offer global logistics students a 3D virtual environment in which to study and solve logistics problems that would be difficult to simulate in a classroom.”

“The Global TransPark is a great asset to the state of North Carolina, and we’re delighted to announce them as our launch customer for the 3D4M product,” said Richard Boyd, CEO of 3Dsolve. “3D4M goes beyond today’s Web conferencing solutions by integrating not only media such as audio, video, animations, and presentations, but also high-quality 3D simulation capabilities. We think the combination of 3D4M and the facilities and services of the GTP and the ETC will be irresistible.”

3Dsolve will deliver the first customized version of 3D4M to the GTP in the first quarter of 2004, with the parties collaborating on sales, marketing, and development efforts thereafter.
