3Dsolve on Team Selected for $483 Million Distributed Learning Contract with US Army

Innovative Firm Brings Simulation Learning Expertise to Prestigious Team

Cary, NC, February 28, 2006 — 3Dsolve Inc., The Simulation Learning Company, today announced it is part of a team that has won a new $483 million contract awarded by the US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), the Distributed Learning, Education and Training Products (DLETP) program. Under the contract, 3Dsolve will work with a team of product and service providers assembled by prime contractor Karta Technologies to provide high-quality, state-of-the-art distributed e-learning for soldiers worldwide.

Distributed learning is key to training and supporting troops deployed anywhere, whether in the continental US or overseas. Through the DLETP program, US Army commands can now more easily obtain the necessary funds to incorporate simulation learning solutions into their distributed learning courses.

“We’re honored to be associated with Karta Technologies and the outstanding team they have assembled,” said Richard Boyd, chief executive officer of 3Dsolve. “Our participation in the DLETP program not only enables our existing customers to work with us more easily than ever, but will allow us to bring the benefits of simulation learning to additional commands and their soldiers throughout the US Army.”

“We recruited 3Dsolve to our team for their unquestioned technical skills, their impressive list of customers, and their growing reputation as a leader in the military training industry,” said Ken Guest, retired US Army Major General and chief operating officer at Karta. “The Karta team is poised to provide the right training solution when and where needed.”

In addition to 3Dsolve, the Karta DLETP team includes a prestigious list of firms: Advancia, Alion Science & Technology, Allen Interactions, Brainshark, CACI, Carney, Coastal, CollabWorx, CompeteNet, Eagle Systems, EG&G, Envisage, FC Business Systems, IBM, Information Experts, LMR, MTS Technologies, NGRAIN, Orion, Pinneast, SIMmersion, Sparta, SRA, Stanley Associates, SumTotal, The Logistics Company, Thomson NETg, and Visual Purple.
