3Dsolve Inc. Wins Military Training Technology’s Top 100 Award for the Third Year in a Row

Cary, NC, November 28, 2005—3Dsolve Inc., The Simulation Learning Company, today announced that for the third consecutive year it has been named to the Military Training Technology’s (MT2) Top 100 list of military training vendors. This year, 3Dsolve was recognized with two honors: a blue ribbon for leadership in innovation and a yellow ribbon indicating that it is quickly rising in the industry and is considered up and coming.

The MT2 Top 100, from Kerrigan Media International and Military Training Technology, recognizes companies that have made a significant impact in the military training industry this fiscal year—whether in live, virtual, or constructive simulation, training or education. More than 300 companies were considered by Military Training Technology’s editorial board and a panel of independent experts. Winners were selected based on various criteria, including total military sales, end-user feedback, innovations, and need for the solution.

Since receiving its first MT2 Top 100 award in 2004, 3Dsolve has continued to build momentum as the leading provider of simulation-based training for the US military. The company recently announced the successful completion of three key projects:

  • The first validated Level 4 Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) commissioned under TRADOC for the US Army Signal Center (Fort Gordon, Georgia), including 110 hours of hands-on instruction for the entry-level Information Systems Operator-Analyst course, Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 25B10.
  • The delivery of simulation-based courseware for the Submarine On-Board Training Department (SOBT) of the US Naval Submarine Learning Center (SLC) in Groton, Connecticut for Los Angeles-class attack submarine personnel in force protection and anti-terrorism.
  • Extremely rapid delivery of Level 4 IMI to the US Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CE-LCMC), for the ICOM F43G series portable transceiver for in-the-field soldier communications.

“3Dsolve continues to demonstrate its commitment to enabling and enhancing training for the US military. 3Dsolve also continues the innovative use of 3D and gaming-based technologies to improve the way that the military organization and others learn,” explained Jordan Fuhr, editor of Military Training Technology. “3Dsolve is also quickly rising to the top of the industry with a number of new contracts and high-profile deliverables with the US military.”

“We are thrilled to be recognized by Military Training Technology for the third year in a row,” said Richard Boyd, CEO of 3Dsolve. “This honor is powerful validation not only for the work we have done, but also for the innovative approaches taken by our clients.”
