3Dsolve is currently investigating the application of 3D simulation and visualization technologies to information-sharing problems in an Intelligence Community (IC) environment. Particular attention is being paid to the later stages of the intelligence analysis cycle, especially analyst collaboration in the sharing and presentation of finished intelligence, the presentation of finished intelligence to consumers (policymakers), and the use of visualization to capture feedback from consumers.

Most of our technical effort is being invested in understanding how the current system can support and enhance current IC practice, and what new forms of communication between analysts and between analysts and their customers might be possible.

A major goal of our effort is to demonstrate the relevance and value of 3D simulation and visualization to IC customers, with an eye toward gaining the adoption of these technologies for intelligence dissemination.
